  1. Find a poster for your candidate, their should be a campaign name on it. Ask phone information for their number. It will not be on line unless the poster shows a web address.

  2. Pick a campaign that is going on in your area. That obviously means to pick a candidate you like.

I'll bet he or she has a Web site. Write an e-mail and say that you want to help. You'll get an answer back fast. If you know where a headquarters is, drop in and say you want to help.

Here's a secret about political campaigns: At some point, you will be given something relatively important to do. If you do it well, you will move up the political ladder. Enthusiasm and competence will get you far in the business.

  3. PICK A CANDIDATE THAT YOU BELIEVE IN AND WANT TO HELP. GO TO THEIR LOCAL CAMPAIGN OFFICE AND VOLUNTEER. THEY ALWAYS WANT TELEPHONE CALLERS, MAILERS, SCREENERS, AND EXTRA PEOPLE AT THEIR RALLIES. KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN, LEARN, AND HELP IN ANY WAY YOU CAN. GOOD LUCK. ONE DAY YOU CAN REALLY HELP BY VOTING YOUR CHOICE(S).
