I work in this place where alot of people have said and believe that it's haunted. Some believe that the place was burnt and renewed.

so how do I or where can I go to research the past of the house.

You can look up past financial and title stuff (somewhat) with a title search thru the tax records.  To see if it was ever considered haunted, however, yo may have to just go talk to the neighbors.
