Though it is free at www.annualcreditreport.com, this is only 1 free report for the year and in my experience at times it has been wrong. There are 3 credit bureaus and in order to get an ACCURATE credit check and to truly protect your credit score you must be able to access all 3 credit reports, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

That can be done free at JustCardOffers.Com They offer a 3 in 1 credit report courtesy of Equifax. If you visit that website there should be a link to it. They also offer a 20% discount for lifelock.

I would not trust my credit to a free credit report service.
