Where do I send my written grant proposal?

I want to attend college but can not afford it, so I decieded to try to get a grant. I wrote a grant proposal but, with so many agencies how do I find the right one(s) to send it to?

  1. You are crossing the threshold here.  Grant proposals are used to request improvement grants, business grants, etc.  You should not have to draft a proposal for education grants.  You will have to fill out applications, very similar to scholarships, but I think you may be on the wrong track here.


  2. You are putting the horse wayyyy before the cart.  

    First, you find a grant you want to apply for and THEN do the necessary paperwork.  If  you are wanting to apply for a grant to go to college, you do not need to do a "proposal" you need to fill out a fafsa at http://fafsa.ed.gov

    Most grant "proposals" are for people to do things in the community like start a nutrition awareness program in the area or aid other social service agencies in the area.
