Or do they differ at all? Do they only differ in their methods or choice of medicine?

  1. well, us westerners will probably get to the brass ring first...non-western gets played up due to anomalies...western on the other hand makes slow and thorough advances that actually mean something to the advancement of medicine.

  2. Western medicine tends to be based off concrete evidence and research, but costs and arm and a leg.

  3. Non-western medicine is based on religion, or spiritual means. It generally doesn't use synthetic chemicals, and usually uses herbs, etc. Western medicine is based on biology, science, chemistry.... I am NOT advertising one or the other. Western medicine is good, since it bases around research (why it's slow).
