Where do airline pilots go to the toilet in mid-flight?

If you're in mid-flight, and particularly on a long journey, where do the pilots go to the loo? Particularly in the Boeing series (being my favourite airplane, and the most common).

You're obviously not allowed to go on the deck (as well as looking very unprofessional). If it's a long flight with little breaks inbetween?

  1. P*ss out of the window of course! Or take a empty 2litre bottle.

  2. boeing 747s have bathrooms in the cockpit.  extremely small though

  3. Same place as everyone else. They use the forward lav.

  4. Yea, they have a bathroom.  And they also have an auto pilot system which they can basicly set the altitude, heading, & speed of the plane with a couple of buttons.

  5. Well as you know there are two pilots.

I fly JetBlue by the way.

There are bathrooms up there you know, and they switch on and off flying the plane.  There is autopilot also

  6. they have a bathroom up there too u no....nd its not just one pilot...they take turns flying the plane

  7. On our little Airbus A319's, they come out and use the same toilet as the passengers. Its great to see the passengers faces when one of the pilots comes out and into the toilet .... 'Who's flying the plane????'

    Funny!!

  8. They use the head, just like anyone else. While one pilot is gone, the other is required to put on his oxygen mask.

The flight attendants use the heads, also. They, too, have the same type bodies as pilots. (Human)
