Where do baby carrots come from?

  1. I like those too. I think they are cut out of carrots that are to skinny to sell as big carrots.

    Large carrots are chopped smaller, then basically tumble grated until they get that rounded off shape.

  8. Baby Carrots come fom big carrots. They are carved out of them.

  9. They are just pulled before fully harvested or cut from big ones and put in a bag and called "baby carrots" for us to think they are truly babies.

  10. carrot seedlings that have been planted and are not allowed to grow to a large size. They cost more money (doesn't everything), but you can chunck up large carrots in small chunks and get the same results, but I believe that the smaller (baby) carrots are alittle more tender and sweeter

  11. They are either carrots bred to grow that shape really misshapen regular carrots cut down to size.  If they are all round they have probably been cut down.

  12. They come when the seeds are fertilized with water. Duh.
