If two people have been best friends since childhood - over 15 years, what kind of rules do they follow? Obviously, it depends on the individual, but I want to know what is commonly accepted. Do best friends need to call each other before coming to visit (lets assume they live close together)? If one has a baby is it reasonable for the other to be there for the birth and to visit in the days afterward? Where do you draw the line between being a concerned/loving friend and someone who is around too often?
These are just some examples, if you can think of more by all mean... elaborate for me.
