  1. As a black woman, I think we’ve crossed many barriers and have proven many stereotypes of ourselves to be wrong. Now, we still have some “sistas” who have forgotten who they are as people, and what those before us have gone through. But most of us have come to the realization that we’re just as much of value as any other woman in this world. And most of us (at least the ones I know personally) are all about achievement, and moving on to the next level of greatness for our future, our family’s future, and the women following in our footsteps. At times, like any other race of women, we do face discrimination, but we’ve learned how to adjust, adapt, and over come and stomp it out before it even gets started. We’ve learned that it no longer takes the “rolling of the head and snapping of the fingers” to get some ones attention. We use the smarts and intelligent that god has given us to be both seen and heard. I’m so proud of women like Angela Davis, Ohpra Whinfery (regardless of what anyone on here thinks of her), Condoleezza Rice, Michelle Obama (regardless of what anyone on here thinks of her), Tyra Banks, Queen Latifa,  Jada Pinkett Smith to name a few to setting the tone in which many women such as myself to follow. They’re women of poise, confidence, and inner/outer beauty that I take pleasure in modeling myself after.  We’ve come a long way, and we’ve got even further to go.

  2. black women are my favorite

  3. I think they stand right next to the next person.  There are just as many rotten white people as there are rotten anything else.  I know someone who told me once that she believed that if she were standing in line along with a person of color that she should be a head of that person in line...  I am white and I was appalled by this persons ignorance.  What dumb ***.  how could she even think that much less say it.

Another experience.  When I was in Jr. High School there were a total of 3 black people in the entire school (I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah)  I was pretty good friends with Denise who was 1 of the 3...  she told me once that she didn't like the 3rd black girl "because she is a ******".  I couldn't believe she would say such a thing.  It feels wrong just repeating it.

  4. on their feet!

  5. I personally think from what i see on tv they are degraded more than say white women.. My best friend is black and she lives in illinois and she came down to florida to see me and guys were just like hey baby when you gonna come suck this and i had never heard that in my life i was so like shocked.. I don't know i fight for black women and white women just like i do for g**s =)

  6. Condoleeza Rice broke the barriers a long time ago, so I think things are getting better

  7. That depends... Black women in what society? In  American society? In American working class society? In British society?

Very general question, any answer you get is going to be unhelpful.
