Where do both candidates stand on military action in the Darfur region of Sudan?

This issue is something that has been swept under the rug for a long time, and I was wondering where either of the candidates stood on it?

  1. You can see their scores on these web pages (below), Obama looks better than McCain at Darfur.org.

    However, I believe neither candidate will actually get anything done in Darfur, it is a non issue in the U.S. because we have no leverage against China, the real reason there is a problem in the region. (see third and fourth link).

  3. Hopefully they will keep out of this squabble.  We should mind our own business and avoid entangling alliances and foreign wars like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson et al advised.

  4. To put it in a nutshell...both think it's really bad and the U.S. should do something about it.  Honestly, they haven't said much more then that.
