Where do cavemen fall in the creation of life for christains??

Many people throughout history have lived in caves...the Anasazi Indians for one. Cave people were simply living in the easiest place to survive many years ago after the flood. Some people preferred to live in caves rather than build houses if natural materials, tools or knowledge were not available.

After the last findings in the Olduvai Gorge in Africa the last skeleton older the the famous "Lucy" was unearthed. This older one recently brought to the publics attention was one point two million years older then even "Lucy" making it over three million years old. Judging from this, we can say they've lived in caves or at least if they could find one I'm sure, for three million years.

It really is inconvenient for the Christians, because the Hebraic Oral Tradition didn't go back that far. The Jewish calendar is only about 5700+ years old!

Actually the bible talks about a time when men were giants. Recently, skeletons of giant humans have been found in the middle east, confirming what the bible says.

That is a slight problem for the fundies, who would rather not think about it.  The Big Story Book makes no mention of prehistoric man, or dinosaurs.  So the fundies have no answer, and most will offer nothing more than a religious cliche' or just duck the question.

Actually, a lot of Christians believe in Evolution.  They just believe that God set it all in motion and played a hand in it here and there.  Some don't believe in Evolution, but think that God still created man and all of the other pre-man models.  

In either case cavemen were mostly modern man during the Pleistoscene (with the exception of the Neanderthals).  He certainly fits into the above models.

However, the Creationists that believe the Bible word for word and only believe that man has been here like 5 or 10 thousand years is a different story.  I'm not sure what they think.  I have met some that believe that Cane married either other humans made by God, their creation is just not mentioned in the Bible.
