Where do emerati-UAE people go for their holidays &how they spend their weekends?

hi everyone who lives in UAE or lived here.if u know Plz answer its so interesting for me also you can tell how you how and where you spend work_free time[not haram Plz] family recreation as well&how often ? thanx a lot

This weekend we are flying to Istanbul, Turkey for a long weekend as it is only a four hour flight.  We sometimes drive to Fajairhah, which is about a two hour drive, and stay at one of the resorts that's right on the water.  I've already booked ourselves in for two nights at the Atlantis Palm that is opening in September.  Mostly though, we spend our weekends getting together with friends for brunch or dinner.

it's different from a family to another ..

in my family , the family memebers gather in our house (the big house) , chatting , having meals .. etc ..

in other families, some go to the farm house to spend the weekend or go to the other Emirates ..

in the winter or summer holiday , we go to either to  arab countries or other countries in the world .. some families have houses in the uae islands so they go spend it there or just spend it home =P
