Where do flies prefer to live?

In warmer or colder climates? Well warmer climates but I just wanna be sure about it. Why?

Within limits flies live in  all climates.  Now you will not find many in Antarctica or the Sahara desert but that may be because there is little food for them. But different species have adapted to the environment they are found.  I don't know but I suspect that you will find flies with the penguin flocks at the south pole. There would be more flies in the tropics than in colder climates because there is more food for them in tropical regions. The word prefer is not really suitable because they do not choose to live in a certain climate, it is food availability that determines where they will be found.

good question, a lot of people say colder, a lot of people say warmer, so really scientist couldn't figure it out too
