Question:

Where do folk sell stolen goods in Leeds?

I had some tools stolen from my van the other night. I recognise the chances of seeing them again are slim - negligible, but I have no idea where the dodgy 2nd hand shops or car boot sales are held around these parts.

I doubt they're the kind of things that'd sell well on eBay, postage would be too much.

  1. best to report it and leave it to the police

  2. the good people of leeds would never handle stolen goods

  3. The carboots, cash convertors, that sort of place.

There literally 100's of places in Leeds and the surrounding area that will take the goods no questions asked, which is quite disturbing....

  4. cash gen if you got one of them in leeds or somthing like that.

  5. chapeltown

  6. MoneySpinners in York, top of MickleGate. Big fat ******** works behind the counter. He'll take anything. probably paid a tenner for your tools and he'll have them on sale for twice the price they cost you new.

No-one with half a brain sells anything nicked in the same town they nicked it from. For stuff nicked by those with less than half a brain, try that 2nd hand shop under the arches, near Leeds station, nearly opposite the Rocket.
