Where do historic F1 racing cars get new tyres?

You see the old racing cars being driven around at goodwood but how do they manage to get tyres as they used to use goodyears and avons etc which are nothing like modern rubber

  1. what a good question. I would expect the makers would still be able to make tyres the same size, but with different rubber.

  3. Avon supply the tyres for the FIA Thoroughbred Grand Prix World Championship which is for cars built between 1966 and 1985 so they must still be manufacturing them.

  4. All F1 tyres are hand made, so you get them from the manufacturer
