Where do i cash this check??

I got a check for my birthday from my gramps for wells fargo.. but my mother has an account for bank of america.. where would i go to cash the check??

you should try a liquor store they usually only charge you $1.00 per $100 or try cashing it at your bank they should accept it.

since it is paid to you, that cant be deposited to your mom's account unless you are also the account holder, coz it will be considered a third party check.

to cash it, just go to a wells fargo branch coz it is where the check is drawn from.

Both Are accredited institutions and have equal status within the finance community, just deposit it in a week it should be clear in 10 days possible a few days longer.

you can deposit checks drawn on any bank in any other bank
