  1. The link below will take you to Tiger Direct's router page.  This will give you some idea of what is available and the cost.  Remember this is an online store so their prices will be lower then a retail store like Staples or Office Depot, etc.

  2. You can buy a wireless router almost anywhere!  Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

    You're probably going to want to get a Wireless-G router, which should run you about $60-100 depending on if it's on sale, etc.

    My only recommendation is do NOT buy a Belkin... :D

    I've had the best luck withg NetGear, but also DLink and Linksys should be good.

    Lastly, make sure you don't already have a router built into your modem.  If you see more than 1 ethernet port in your modem, then you already have a router.  At that point, I'd make sure it isn't wireless already and pick up a Wireless Access Point.

    In order for you to buy a Wireless ROUTER, the modem should only have 1 Ethernet port (looks like a big phone jack with 8 pins).
