  1. well failing the 'open the gate when a nice male wanders by attracted by your in heat females essence" method, It generally takes a GOOD female  and your reliable presence in a dog club and/or many dog activities to develop a friendship with the males owner.....

  2. Im guessing you're also going to ask for free vet care for your b*tch? And free shots/worming for the pups? Breeding dogs isn't something that will equal "free." You will spend at LEAST two grand on one litter - more if something were to go wrong with the b*tch and whelping.

If you're looking for free then don't breed.

  3. You don't.  Anyone who has a reliable male with a good health history and temperment will not provide that service for free.  At the very least, they will want the pick of the litter.  And I assume that your female has all her health clearances?  Hips, eyes, heart, etc.?   Just because she has papers does not mean she is a candidate for breeding.

  4. You won't find it.  Stud service is gonna cost either pick of the litter or the price you would get for one of the puppies.  The best thing for you to do is spay your dog.

  5. You need to talk to an AKC registered breeder.  Backyard breeding will lead to puppies with major problems with their hips (hip dysplasia is a terrible disease) and eyes.  A "free" stud service dog could have a multitude of health and behavioral issues, let alone the idea that someone letting their dog do this is just creating puppy mills.

  6. You don't. Go become a responsible breeder, somebody who does their research, has the money  and cares about the outcome of their decision to breed. People wanting to breed for profit disgust me

  7. try posting an ad on Craig's List.com - guaranteed to work.  But you might be asked for a small stipend for gas or something.  If that does not work, find a dog park (or Petco or PetSmart)  and post some signs for a stud.  Good Luck and be tasteful if you post signs or an ad.  You don't wanna look like you are "pimping" your pet.

  8. nothing is free, not even doggie love...
