Where do i get a s.s card if im not in the same state i was born?

my lil brother just moved in with me and he wasnt givin his ss card but he has his birth certificate. so where do we go to get it

IIRC, you get that from federal sources, not state. Is there a federal office building in your city? Look them up in the phone book, or find a website, and see what is required to get a replacement social security card.
