Where do i get info in modeling?

if u can please help me. i am interested i modeling and i am new at it and have some great pics. please send mr info if u know anyone who is interested and phone numbers to.

You could sign up for modelmayhem...its a real good site for models starting out and you can learn alot from it. That's where i started and only been on there for bout a year and i've already been featured in three magazine...go take a look www.modelmayhem.com

If you want to get into high fashion modeling, you had better be tall.  5'6" is short for a model -- the New York runway models are generally 5'9" to six feet tall.

Schools like Barbizon will be happy to take your money.  You will learn some basic moves, but without the height your best bet will be local work -- car shows, trade show greeters, etc.  

You can check with local modeling agencies, but make sure they are reputable.  They should not ask you for money, (they will take a cut of your earnings) although you may have to pay for some photos.

If you are young, please take your mom with you.  There are a lot of snakes out there, trying to get you to take your clothes off.

it's funny cuz i was thinking the exact same thing...i called barbizon (a modeling school) and then they called me back but after doin some research online for modeling, i read that modeling schools were a waste of time....i'm not sure if that's true or not...so far that's the only thing i can think of.
