What alot of people like to use these days is a Virtual PA, basically it's someone you employ from the other end of a computer, they invoice you either on a set quote they have given you, or on an hourly rate, it's easy to use, no overheads, and you want use them as and when you need them.

Try posting a ad at the local collage.  Or I have found that young mothers who want to earn a few bucks but only want to work a little so they can still be with there kids once they get out of school, are a great resorce.  They have good skills when it comes to this sort of thing....
