Where do i get the best tasting sandwich???

your opinion...what is your favorite kind of sandwich and where do you get it from? im sick of subway or fast foods, where are some really good sandwiches?

you may want to try local restaurants like the sandwich shop or the lunch box and then u may want to try quiznos if u dont like subway but they are pretty much the same and there are these new deli deluxe sandwiches at wal-mart

Don't know where you live, but a small chain called Macado's, based in Virginia with a few stores in West Virginia and North Carolina, has the best . . . and the best selection of . . . wild and wonderful deli sandwiches in the world.

I live in PA, but go to Charlotte, NC on business twice a year and always eat there. Also, very friendly, down home atmosphere -- set up similar to Applebees, TGI Fridays, UNO's, etc., but much better in every way. I've become an "occasional regular" at their Charlotte (actually Concord, NC, near the Speedway) location.

Roast pork on rye with brown mustard, sweet onion, lettuce and tomato, from a small locally-owned restaurant.

I live in a very small town and there are no chains here, but I prefer small and local anyway.  They put more care into the food.  The bread is fresh-baked and you can still smell the pork roasting when they're slicing it.  The tomato was on a plant yesterday.

My favorite kind of sandwich NOT from a Fast Food place is the Classic Club from Marriott's.  It's rather expensive, but it is an excellent treat for those "special" occasions.
