Where do i go from here... ?

Question

The company i have worked for almost 3 years now is making budgetary cuts. They gave the pink slip to 15 last week, and changed my work load drastically. I am only 20 years old but i have been working since i was 15. I have saved up some money. I put my two weeks in early this week, my last day at my company is the 29th. My friend is an HR manager and she is helping me find a job, and until then she got me into a temp agency. I really appreciate her help, but I'm debating what i should do. I have always loved traveling, but i haven't seen all of the countries i would like to see. I also love SCUBA diving. I'm thinking of traveling. Let me know about our experiences and your ideas on whether or not now is the right time for me to travel. If so where should i go. I'm from the states,i have been to mexico, bonaire,honduras, and baja. I'm not afraid of traveling alone, and have don it a number of times... I actually prefer it : )

You're young -- I'd travel now.

Try finding a job on an island.  They often have people offering scuba lessons.  Granted, you there might be a mile of paperwork to complete to get a workpermit for an island, but one day you will look back at your life and remember your great adventure.
