  1. Send a few detailed pictures of it to me via email.

  2. I would recommend posting a few pictures of it in the forum section of www.azbilliards.com.  There are quite a few very knowledgeable cue collectors that participate there.

  3. I'm back from hiding.

Life Lover gave good advice here but also include:

head on pic of butt end

    close up of ferrules

close up side on of butt cap

age of cue to your best knowledge (not a guess) if owned by  some one else for 10 years say so

    any marks or logos

your location (we can give you local collectors and makers)

You can also check in the book    The Blue Book Of Cues

beware though you may not know what you think you are seeing

PS if Johnny is still about ...Hi !

    Luck

    K

  4. You can post the question again here but include some links that have pictures of the cue. Fotki.com is a good site for posting personal pictures. I'm sure there are enough of us here that can make an honest attempt at telling you what you have.

Be sure to post pictures of the butt and shaft side by side and pictures looking head on at the male and female joints. That will help tell you a lot about the age of the cue.

  5. take it 2 a pawn shop ask them if u can pawn it if they take cues their yhey can tell u the value of it they know what 2 look 4 look at the base of the end u hold c if it has any writing on it if it does someone on here can tell u what it is sometimes symble instead of letters good luck

  6. It might be a tedious task. Take it to some professionals and get their opinions. Or post some pics on some established billiard forums. If it doesnt have any initials or anything on the butt of cue it probably isnt worth much.
