One Place would be a Patent Attorney or Agent and ask them to do a patent search for you.  If you are in the U.S., to find a patent pro use the index at www.uspto.gov to find the Roster of Attorneys and Agents.  Search it by the first 3 digits of your zip code to find a pro near you.

Alternatively, you can do a search yourself on line.  For example, Google/Patents lets you search U.S. patents.  On the main Google page click more, then --even more--, then scroll to find Patents and click on it.
