Where do i jailbreak my ipod touch and get the installer App. with it?

I just bought an ipod touch and have ver. 2.0.1 and i wanted to jailbreak it and get the installer app NOT CYDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know any vids or walkthroughs that can help me out??

  1. why the h**l would you not want cydia?  on 2.x it is much better installer.  you can get both cydia and installer but installer won't do anything useful on 2.0.1.   You can downgrade your software to 1.1.4 and get only the installer but your ipod will be slower and only advantage you get is getting very slow playstation and SNES Emulators.  you are obviously a noob so just jailbreak it using regular method.  


  2. Dont jailbreak. I jailbreaked mine and after a month the battery life started to suck and it kept on freezing. Dont jailbreak.
