Where do i or how do i find community thearters where i can act in, in va?

Depending on what city or town you live in, there should be an arts council, or at least one close by (in a near city).  From their website you should be able to find openings.  In Pittsburgh, PA we have a city paper (CP) and posts about art related positions and events.  You could visit your towns or states homepage and click on the arts link and find a list of theaters and contact them and find out when they are holding opening positions.
