When I was a store manager, the owner of the company would always go to buying shows. I know they are held in Chicogo and in Atlanta. He always bough in large quantities and made great buys.

Alot of the purchases he made was in case packs and the average item would cost .33 cents. For example his cost was .33 cents for a hair brush. They would come packed in a case of 12 and he would sell them for .99 each. He had 13 Stores and each store would get 3 or 4 cases.......... Being able to buy in large quantities is the key to make the trips worth while. Good Luck

I would Google "dollar store inventory" "dollar store wholesale" "dollar store blogger", without the quotes.

Why dollar store blogger? Because if you find a good one, he/she will help you out. You can ask he/she questions right on the blog via the contact form, or by leaving a comment on a blog post. And again if its a good blogger, they will have relevant and recent info for you to puruse.

I would also try and find some dollar store sellers, and ask them this very question. Some will be helpful, and others wont. But its another avenue you can try.
