Where do i start if i wanna be in television or motion pictures?

i built up my acting esume and ive been googling allday, looking for casting calls and agents and i keep finding websites that keep trying to sign me up for membership and bullshit like that.. i just need a basic guide, someone with an easy idea.. tell me where i can go to get hollywood casting calls and a list of genuine acting agents.
