Where do i tap into for power when installing aftermarket fog lights?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Elantra and I know how to wire them, I just dont know what to use as a power source. Should i run a wire directly from the battery or somehow tap into one of the fuse boxes?

Go from your battery and as close as easy, add your fuse. Personally, I prefer to put the switch on the - side-that way, your + is directly to the lights, giving less chance of a short burning things up.
