Where do missing people go?

This is a question that haunts me. I know many of them are murder victims, or people running away from their financial problems or what have you, but what about the others?

What happens to the totally normal male college student last seen within a few yards of his dorm, and then never again?

 It's a good question and I can't believe the number of idiotic 'they wouldn't be missing if we knew' answers when it is plainly obvious what the question really means.

Of those that are found, what happened to them? What percentage were found dead, homeless, mentally ill etc? Clearly there is no answer for the ones who were never found. The original questioner probably wants to know these numbers, if anyone knows them or where to find them.

Please help me locate a man by the name of Bishamber Das Hora who used to be a businessman living in Chandigarh sector 21 and went missing 10 years back. He leaves his wife and 2 sons. Some say he took lot of credit from the market and was unable to repay and hence got himself kidnapped. Someone says he saw him in Delhi as a cloth merchant living in a house with a different wife !

I would like to find him at any cost. Help me !
