  1. I have mine put on the upper fork tube on the back and the inside to make them as unnoticeable as possible.... sort of between the tank and headlight.

It's stupid really, you have a plate that couldn't be up to date and properly registered without having this performed in the first place! Like cops check for these, at least not the bored and wanting to bust your b@lls types....

Seriously, if someone got a ticket for improper placement of an inspection sticker who would really be at fault - you or the place that is supposed to attach them? If my state gave them to me to mount, I'd carry it in my wallet. If a mechanic at an inspection place ask, tell him where I said. If he doesn't then ask him why he doesn't place his own on the middle of his front fender? Then find a new place where they appreciate bikes in the first place

  2. Placement is specified by the state.

We have ours on the lower left leg of the front forks.

  3. I live in NY, and mine goes on the left fork tube, facing out towards the left.  That way, any LEO that stops me can see it easily.

  4. Buy a plate and put it down by the shifter. You don't want an ugly sticker on your nice fork leg.

  5. On the front fork.

  6. on the left fork

  7. You can put them on the inside of your side covers, or under your seat....

  8. You can get a tin license plate holder at your local motorcycle dealer. There is a space left under the plate mount for your sticker. Heck, stick on your rear fender.
