I mean the people on the Gulf Coast can go north, but people in places like Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Cuba are stuck. Thanks.

  1. underground. that's really funny...

  2. In the midwest they dig underground storm shelters to protect them from tornadoes.

If I live on an island in a hurricane prone region, I would dig an underground storm shelter.

    Otherwise, head to high ground.

  3. underground

  4. I don't know, I wish i was in that part of the country.  We here in Vegas were supposed to be getting some rain this weekend, but it only sprinkled for 5 minutes, and then stopped.  How exciting to be on an island, or even on the gulf coast, right now.  The clouds are really dark and ominous looking, and the storm is coming close!   The power is out, the winds are howling, the rain is coming down in buckets, the phone lines are down, no internet access.  Just a portable radio, a flash light, some playing cards, or how about a little video/audio thing like an Ipod, watching a scary movie.  Exciting stuff!!!!!!!!!!  I wish i was there!

  5. they just stay there, thats why there are too many deaths from this cane already.

also if they did go underground...whatif it floods??? then when they open the door itll get flooded...not a good idea.
