I'm doing a project and am looking for information regarding retailers in AU. Any additional information or sources is greatly appreciated (like # stores/outlets, $ sales, locations, consumer perceptions, etc.)

Thanks!

  1. There are shops that sell bikes and bike related goodies. You can get cheaper bikes (but still good bikes) at Kmart, Target and Big W. But The best bikes are at dedicate bicycle stores.

    Good luck!

  2. Push bikes i assume you mean.  We shop at dedicated bike stores, small local ones or chains like goldcross cycles, or at large department stores, like kmart.

kmart competes with target (although they are both owned by coles group ltd), big w.  Those two are the most similar.  Myer is a similar store, but a little more up market.  I guess they also compete with smaller specialist retailers, like clothes shops, music stores, auto stores etc etc..  Have a look at their website, it'll be a good starting point for further reasearch.

    Good luck with your project.
