Where do restored files from the Recycle Bin go?

I found a picture in the recycling bin which I decided I wanted to keep, so I right-clicked 'Restore', it's not in the recycling bin but I don't know where it is. Does it go to the original location?

It will go back to where it came from, as long as that location has not been overwritten or deleted as well.

As long as you haven't deleted the file it originally came from it goes back to there.
