And if they cross over to the light how come people take photos of spirits in grave yardsand such?http://www.hauntedaustralia.com/content/view/298/126/ like this

What about h**l or a not very nice place for those spirits who were paedophiles and child killers in their lives - where do they go?To the light as well? They don't deserve to go to the light!

Can their world and our world cross over? THanks

  1. The "going to the light" is something I think people say to make the bereaved feel better. In my experience, people who say that and other common platitudes are as mundane as a rock.

Plus, it'd be mean to say "I telepathically saw a bunch of bad spirits come and take so-and-so's spirit when they died" even if it's true!

I believe that there are several possible realms that can be next, not just the 2 (heaven/h**l) of the big monotheistic religions, and that the vast majority of people end up in a "middle ground" type one since most people aren't either all-good or all-evil. That's not to say it'd be the same for everyone--more like a city, where there's a rich and safe part, a vast "just okay" part, and a really lousy and dangerous part. But each part can still experience some of its "opposite" trait...occasionally there is happiness in the seedy section of a city, and sadness amongst the manors.

  2. The Light is heaven, where EVERYONE goes for judgement. The reason some spirits never leave is because they are residual presences.

  3. Well, from your edits, it sounds like you want people to tell you a particular answer, but here is the truth anyway.

    - This is a question for the religious section, not the paranormal.

    - The white light is either heavenly light, or an effect caused by the brain shutting down.

    - There might be spirits here on earth, but they are not dead people. Dead people get judged based on sins and go to heaven or h**l.

    - The Bible is a guide to what is to come, whether you believe it or not. If I told you respect my belief that there is no gravity, would I float up into the sky? No, belief is irrellevent.

  4. Your spirit is simply the breath of life which leaves your body when you die. Your soul is that non-physical part which returns to God when it is called forth for Judgement. When one dies, the Bible describes it as "being asleep"; err, no conscious awareness of anything until that time comes. When I died for 7 minutes and "came back", I could only remember extremely bright constellations of stars- nothing else.

  5. That light we see is just some kind of spiritual portal to that other place, of course we cannot go directly to heaven, not before judgments day, so according to the bible the good thief was promised that he will be with Jesus that day in "paradise", so this paradise thing seems to be a waiting place for those good souls that await entrance to Heaven.

  6. HOW THE h**l WOULD I KNOW?

sorry... I mean there are as many answers as there are religions, I believe that they go to god for judgment, then they either go to h**l or heaven, they get rewarded or punished with respect to their deeds.

I guess you already hear that.

  7. Physical life is a temporary "work place" where souls incorporate into human body forms in order to experience existence in a state not entirely possible in their more permanent, spiritual one. After "death," the soul "separates" from the body and returns back to the spirit world. THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE TO GO EXCEPT THERE, whether or not you hurt anyone or not during your physical incarnation. Do not be so quick to condemn, you have had many lives in the past, and will have many more. Do you think you never, or will never, hurt anyone? Souls use the time back in the spirit world to reflect on past actions, and reincarnate with the intent to next time make better decisions. As far as 'ghosts', there are 2 types. one is too complex to explain here, the other type are immature souls who  temporarily refuse to let go of the earth plane and return to the spirit world.

  8. From experience, when I had my NDE (near death experience), I saw my body fall to the floor, I was looking around my living room. Everything was the same as except 1 thing.

I looked toward my window & I saw the so call light. It was shaped like the horn of plenty cone. the brilliance was beautiful, the like was extending from out of the tunnel to inside my livingroom. My thought was, "My new adventure is about to start." With that I was back in my body.

Thinking about my experience and all the spiritual (ghosts) experiences I have had, I have came up with a theory.

I had to go to the light, I didn't make it there. Some how I felt, that if I went through the tunnel, I would of seen my entire life played, all the good & bad. Now thinking of my experiences with spirits, I feel as though we have a choice to continue or stay. If we stay, that would account for actual hauntings.

If we go on, I feel, we will go to a spiritual level that matches our spiritual/Faith level. Once we are at our level, we can continue to grow in Faith, help others out to grow.

That is my opinion based on exeperiences.

  9. I'm agnostic, so I don't believe in the Pearly Gated Community hype.

Since some spirits seem to replay a time in their life, it kind of makes me wonder that when we die, if it isn't like that movie "Groundhog Day." Where the main character keeps repeating a day in his life until he gets it right.

And since I grew up as a Southern Baptist, I was always told that our souls would keep coming back until we've learned our life lessons. And one doesn't "rest" in god's mansion until those lessons are learned.

(A reason I'm not hip on the belief.)

I forget the man's name, but back in 1993 he drowned in an icy pond. Even though he was clinically dead for 2 hours, he was brought back to life.

And from what he said, he didn't want to return to his body.

Maybe someone from in here will know his name then you can google it and read his story.

  10. I don't know yet. I have scheduled many appointments with many spirits to talk about this but they never seem to show up for their appointments.

    Do spirits die?

The light question is on my list.

First. many photos are terrible and saying orbs are ghost/spirits seems to have little to back it up to me. So, what people are photographing (when not easily explained away) is still an unknown. Granted if a photo isn't faked and it looks like a person long since dead then you have a picture that looks like a picture of a ghost.  This is not what you usually see offered in photos.

Second, the psychic explanation is that you can take photos (here on Earth in our own dimensions) because those spirits have not passed on or gone to the light.

Other people believe that spirits can come back from the light and visit the living.

Still other theories suggest that you can only photograph impressions of people left behind (like a recording in the atmosphere) where an event with lots of emotion got impressed.

Still another theory suggest that photographs aren't even possible because you are getting information about the area via ESP and visually hallucinating an apparition(s) in order to process that information. FYI: hallucinations can't be photographed.

    Confused enough?

Such is the state of our understanding of any possible afterlife.

  11. I believe that death is just another form of existence.  I also believe that in death the deceased would have the ability to travel through time and have read several articles on this.  As to a soul deserving to be a part of the light I think it's all irrelevant because you can go to wherever you desire if the above is true.  It's possible that you can make the choice to stay here but of course you would be on a different plane of existence and what would be the point?

  12. This is propaganda to make money. Do you really think psychics are real when they say such general things. I remember once hearing one who was saying "...The name has a sh sound at the beginning, i'm picking up a sh sound."

The reply to that was "...His name was thomas."

That just shows me that they lie. They want your money nothing more. There is no suchj things as spirits or the other side. We just die. That is all. If we have been good we go to heaven when Jesus returns. If not we stay dead.

Read the bible; Ecclesiastes 3:20, Psalms 146:4, Job 14:12,21, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6. Also read the whole of revelations because it talks a lot about what will happen when Jesus comes and should answer a lot of your questions.

  13. I'll tell you that if you combine Ice and Aragorn you basically get what I believe.

We live and die but our souls are the energies that never die just wait to be born again at a later time.
