When a game is not televised, do the sportsbooks that have live-in-play actually send someone out to the match to report on the score and send feedback to the odds-makers during the game? how does it work then?

  1. Almost every major sports event has a live reporting feed of some kind working for it, and many of them are streamed online with an RSS type feed.

I suspect this is how the sportsbooks do it. I know there are feeds for all American NFL and NCAA football games, I have used them myself many times to track games as they are being played.

during the last season I experimented with a low bandwidth  online streaming feed for the top games to update scores on the games I select. It helped me keep the games updated, but it took a bit too much work for me, lol.
