Where do stores like HMV & Zavvi get their DVDs from?

I know that they buy on a massive scale, but I am curious as to where they go to/who they use to get their DVDs from?

Does anybody know of any particular company/companies that supply to the likes of HMV and Zavvi (Virgin Megastores)?
