Where do the bunnies or rabbits have their babies ?

like i know in a nest but what like part of the ground i guess

  1. The one's we found in the yard were in a whole in the dirt.

    (They were wild rabbits)


  2. Rabbit's and hares have their young in different places and for different reasons. Rabbits, such as the cottontail, have their young in holes in the ground. They are born with there eyes closed and need more care.

    Hares, such as the (so called) jackrabbit, have their young in shallow depressions behind bushes. The young are ready to run in a short time.

  3. In some thick grass or under thick low brush with grass. Perhaps under some dead limbs. Its all about concealment. The young are vunerable to preditors form above and on the ground.

    Not in a hole. At least not a cottontail or jack rabbit.
