I'm re-reading the series right now, and I'm very confused. Several times the girls mention Washington DC, as if that's where they live, but it's also mentioned that Tibby lives in Bethesda, Maryland, and I know they all live in the same area. So which place to they actually live in? And why are the even mentioning the other place?

its right by dc i know b/c i live there

ppl who live around dc like in maryland or northern virginia tend to identify themselves as dc b/c it is easier to explain...

like northern virginia is just like dc

and the southern virginia is like hickville

so it works

they live in bethesda, maryland but i think its may be realtively close to washington D.C.!
