in which country do the quaker birds come from?

Chicago Illinois... Well, they wasn't originated there, but they do live in Chicago. Every time we go in the city, we see them flying over our heads, and see their big bird nests in the tree.

Quaker parrots are native to South America, but there are actually several wild colonies living and breeding right here in the US. They are THE only parrot that actually builds a nest, and it's a monstrosity -- like a giant bird apartment building, with several pairs living in it.

I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, and used to see them all the time. I don't live there anymore, but I'm sure the birds are still there.
