  1. I was told you should drink half your body weight in oz a day. Example you weigh 150 you should drink a minimum of 75 oz of water a day. Yes water is the best all other liquids arent benificial at all, water cleanses your system. Drinks even without sugar usually have weird additives, if you dont know what each ingredient is for sure, you really shouldnt drink it.

  2. They did some research on that number and found that you should just drink when you are thirsty. Sound too easy?

    Looks like it is!

  3. well diet pop has bad chemicals that are tough for ur body to filter and are terible for u tea and ice tea is great said to speed up ur metabalism  juice is okay but it's got extra cals so no more than like 2 glasses a day and they say water cuz it's mostly what ur made of and it has no cals it cleans ur system good for digestion and keeps u healthy :)

  4. Other drink beverages (except pop) do count towards water intake  : )

  5. NO THEY CONTAIN SUGAR. YOU CAN'T SUBSTATUTE FOR WATER.

  6. YA THTS FINE IT CONTAINS WATER

  7. From my own digging, I found that a good estimate of the number of ounces of water you should drink daily is:

divide your weight (in pounds) by 2 to get the number of ounces per day.

As an example, a 120 lb woman would divide her weight by 2 to get 60 ounces of water per day.  That's just 4 ounces less that 8 cups of water.

Also, I do not belive that sugared beverages, or coffee, should be included in your calculations of the amount of water drank.  Drinks with caffeine, in particular, can act as a diuretic, which causes your body to excrete more water.

    Hope this helps.

  8. Drinking lots of water helps flush out the bad sugars and such which builds up in your body day by day, which means it helps you lose weight (win!), just make sure to drink diet soda.

What I find is that bringing a water bottle around helps a lot. It may not seem that way, but people get dehydrated a lot, but are actually feeling hunger.

  9. Two quarts a day has been found to be the amount of daily water intake needed by an average weight human being to provide adequate hydration for metabolism.

Your best bet is straight water. Tea and many pop drinks have a diuretic effect, which would actually increase your requirement for water intake. Juices also require as much water as they contain to be digested, so there is practically no net water gain.

  10. no pop 100% natrual juice one glass, tea green or black is good and water is best you can have sugar sub
