Where do they come up with the names for hurricanes?

for every hurricane they start off nameing them by using the alphabet they never repeat alaphabet more that once. they don't go past w. when they finish the englsh alphabet they go tro the greek alphabet. like alpha, beta.......

they just make some names going by male and female

noaa started off in the 60s wit only girl names then they put boy names and repeat them every 6 years
