  1. Check into assorted thrift stores.  Many times I find ones around there while I'm looking for my LandCamera 100/200/300/400 series cameras.

As people have noted, Polaroid has discontinued the 600 film, leaving the market completely.  While Fujifilm has stepped to the plate making a replacement film for the Type 669 and 4x5" filmpacks (and they are fantastic films!), from what I understand they have little intention to make any of the integral films (type 600, Spectra) replacements.

And just to say, even passports use the Type 669 polaroid film back.  Using an integral film for a passport would not work so well - the image is sandwiched between to bits of plastic and really has little form of its own.

  2. wally world has 600

  3. They are discontinuing making the film, so what would you do with the camera then?   Save your money and don't get one.

  4. I'm pretty sure Polaroid doesn't make instant film cameras anymore except maybe for professional passport cameras.  Like everyone else, they've gone digital.  You can, however, find tons of Polaroid instant cameras on eBay and Amazon.  Used ones that use 600 film are plentiful and cheap.
