want to go somewhere central / south west on Sunday and have discovered a few great places in Balham but it would be nice to try somewhere else. We are mainly eggs benedict / all day breakfast eaters. Thanks!

  1. If its brunch you want you are in the wrong country London hasn't a clue try New York

  2. Try Cactus Blue in Fulham

  3. There is one, which is really fantastic. It is on Sundays (with Italian buffet) in Quadratto restaurant at the Four Seasons hotel in Canary Wharf. You get a glass of champagne, and a wonderful choice of hot and cold food. Choose a day when it is nice and sunny - they have a very nice garden seating area outside with views of the Thames. It has been my favourite since the day they opened the hotel 5 years ago.

And if afterwards you make a healthy walk alongside the river from there, through Narrow Street, Limehouse and Wapping to Tower Bridge - that is the best idea for a perfect Sunday

  4. The Wolseley in Piccadilly, next to the Ritz

  5. Smith's of Smithfield. But it's so good that it can get a bit busy and noisy.

  6. Try tim-sum at SOHO

  7. yes,London hasn't a clue try New York
