I have done it. on a dare of course. Morimoto's is your best bet. Just go into the experience knowing what you are doing is dangerous, and could be fatal if done incorrectly. but that just made me want to do it again. i am known to be slightly stupid and very impuslsive where food is concerned

New York Magazine says Morimoto on Tenth Avenue in Chelsea has the best fugu.

Blowfish, or Fugu is served on the tasting menu seasonally at "Morimoto" in NYC.  I've had it and it is fantastic.  It leaves a tingling sensation on the tongue that is interesting.  I've also heard it is served sometimes at BondSt and Masa.

I would not eat it at any of the restaurants mentioned below, since if it is not served properly, it could be deadly.  Morimoto is probably the way to go.
