Where do those people that love their jobs get their drugs?

It really depends on your value system.  If you don't know what you like, you probably will never love your job.  Also you need to know what you don't like.  Quit jobs that have more things you dislike then you like until you've found something that works for you, then you won't need drugs.  

If you hate your job you must be willing to do anything required to change it; including taking a job to pay the bills while you use your free time to work toward getting the job you will love.  

Generally though; personal effort and creativity can make any job better (not that you could turn a hated job into a loved job, but make it less hated).  Sometimes learning what you like doesn't happen until you've taken a job.  There are also tests that could help you discover what you like and lead you to related careers.
