Where do u buy stocks is it online or wut?

iv looked this up but they only tel about what u should know about stocks before u buy them but i dont know where. and do u need to buy any sort of software or sumthing like that?

  1. You can buy stocks through a licensed stock broker. You have brokers who allow you to process your trades online. I use ameritrade and fidelity for my accounts:

    You can buy stocks through an online broker such as the ones mentioned earlier. You can buy stocks through an offline broker. Just check your local Yellow Pages.

    You don't need any special software. If you're online,

    they'll have their own website forms.

    If you don't have a lot of money, you can also buy stocks directly from the companies, and they will automatically reinvest the dividends for you, so you keep buying more shares. In time, this can grow to a lot of money.

    These accounts are called Dividend ReInvestment Programs.
