  1. For language learning, Colombia definitely.

Argentina (as much as I love this country) has its very own "version" of Spanish that varies from others spoken around the world.

And Colombia is not the hellish place the media has tried to portray.

I've found it a good place to visit.

  2. actually  the second country in Latin America with the most Asian population is Peru  the first is Brazil, and the Chinatown in Lima is  huge more than 300,00 Asians from all over  even they had an Asian president in the 90s  fujimori of Japanese ancestry the food is great by far the best , the  Spanish spoken in Peru along with Colombia are the most  clear to understand and the best pronunciation in all of Latin America i don't say it  the royal Spanish academy  confirm it;

if you are Asian go to Peru, the Asian people is well established and respected they run businesses and  live well , and the economy in Peru is top performance in Latin America

  3. well argentina has the best spanish for sure but yea they are kind of racist.

and colombia idk i think it is a bit dangerous

    go to argentina. !!

  4. Peru or Colombia.

I would rather go to Peru because their Spanish is well spoken. The Asian community is  enourmous there and have clubs and organizations who instantly help other Asians coming to the country whether to work or to study.

Google Japanese clubs in Peru and start making contacts.

Most Chinese/Japanese are established there and want other fellow Asians to succeed. They have a very strong community down there so communicate via internet.

They have Asian clubs, Asian schools, Japanese/Chinese socities, etc.

This is the website for the Peruvian-Japanese association

    hope that helps

  5. have u ever thought about mexico? there is a town called cuernavaca that has so many english/spanish by emersion schools. i know of a teacher there if u would like his contact

  6. I should say Peru, Colombia or Uruguay

  7. I recommend you Colombia, people there speaks the best Spanish language even better than Spain! But if you prefer I can suggest you to travel to Merida in Venezuela where the Spanish language also is very good and has some very good and cheap academies. I recommend you to check for VENUSA institute is very professional and qualified. Many Americans comes to Merida to learn Spanish and after returning their smiling faces speak by themselves.

  8. I suggest Colombia. Their Spanish has a more standard accent. As for safety just use common sense. Don't go to any Latin American country flashing a rolex, expensive jewelery, ect. Cali, Colombia has a large Chinese-Colombian community,  (although it is not one of the largest in Latin America) there is a club in Cali (although i forgot the name) where it is packed with Asians, but mostly Chinese. I met many friendly people, some who showed me around the city, we spent the entire day sightseeing and speaking Mandarin. if you go to learn Spanish there, I'm sure one of them will help you out. There is a China town is Bogotá, but last i heard it was still it a "project" phase, not sure it it was constructed yet.

  9. No, Racism Is Everywhere, Argentina And Colombia Are Different In Their Spanish. Sound Different And Different In The Way To Say The Words, Ex: Colombia: Tu(You) Argentina: Vos(You).

I Choose Definitely Argentina. More Cosmopolitan Country, There's A Lot Of Asian People In Here, You'll Be Surprise.

  10. Peru, Colombia, Argentina
