Hardware stores carry various locks.

Office supply stores, or any large discount "box" store, should also have the locks in their "Back to school" section.

Personally, I always found that combination locks took too long to get into, and weren't very secure (others can watch/learn your combination), and found that a traditional key padlock worked best for my lockers.  When possible, try to get a pair of padlocks that use the same combination or key, as you'll probably need one for your book/coat locker, and another for your gym locker or someplace else, and you don't want to be carrying around 2 sets of keys or trying to remember 2 different combinations...
